Dear
friends,
Some have objected to praying asking question: why do you need to pray? What do you get in praying? It is not easy to answer these questions. However according to my experience, I gotten a lot from praying. Many problems we met came from within ourselves. For example, we worry about our own future and the future of our beloved persons; we reacted too strongly to our neighbors and with our very close friends such as wife or husband or children; we live in worry. By my experiences, without a good relationship with God, we will have an deformed relationship with others.
God is invisible but very close to us. God loves us, and thus wants us happy in our daily life. Talking with God is not useless; it helps us to find out ourselves, to recover ourself after lost and tired times, to balance our relationship with others, and then to be peaceful and joyful in our daily life.
Praying is to be aware of God’s presence, to be there with God and to feel God’s love to us, to begin a new life in God. Peace and spiritual joy begin with prayer. Please begin our Spiritual Exercises.
